You have the option to pay in instalments over 2 – 8, or 10 years. There is no up-front deposit required but the availability of credit is subject to application and status. Buying on credit does increase the overall cost to you, due to the interest payments required. However, it can be helpful if you are looking to spread the cost over time.

How do I apply?

Once your installer has provided your quote, TradeHelp get in touch at your convenience to discuss your payment options and confirm your details. Following this, you will be either emailed a personalised link for completing your credit application or, if preferred, TradeHelp can carry out the application over the telephone.

If your application is successful the lender will send out your finance documents for you to read and electronically sign. This process usually takes a matter of minutes.

Once your documents are received by the lender, they can proceed to approve your finance. Once TradeHelp are notified of this, TradeHelp will let your installer know and they will be in touch to arrange an installation date at your convenience.

Customer Criteria:

Individuals only – 18 years or over (purchasing for personal, not business, use)
Howeowner with email address and ability to make payments by direct debit
Resident in the UK for at least the last 12 months
Be employed or self-employed in permanent, paid employment (minimum 16 hours per week)

Or be:

a student nurse/doctor
retired
receiving disability allowance
a houseperson with a partner in permanent paid employment.

How long can I take the loan out for?

Subject to application and status you can spread the cost of your loan over 2 – 8 or 10 years on boiler, heating and bathroom installs.

Can I pay with a deposit?

You can pay with a deposit or without, it’s up to you. Paying with a deposit will reduce the total loan required.

When will my payments be due?

This will depend on the type of payment plan you take out and will be detailed on your credit agreement. Your repayment period will not begin until the installation has been completed to your satisfaction.

Can a payment plan be cancelled?

You have the right to withdraw from any credit agreement. If you wish to do so you should inform the lender of your intention to withdraw within 14 days from the day after agreeing to the loan. Payment may still be due for any goods or services provided prior to the cancellation.

Can a loan be paid off early?

Yes, your loan can be paid off early. There are no restrictions on early repayments but you may be charged up to 2 months of interest on the outstanding balance. Please contact your loan provider for more information.
